We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  2. HOOKS ON BATHROOM STALL DOORS

    There’s no where for you to hang your bag in the bathroom where I notice almost all girls choose to change. Unless it’s on the dookie/*** floors.

  3. Ability to pre-schedule posts in communities

    I have a membership community inside the app. I would love to be able to schedule the monthly posts in advance so messages and education are automatically posted and I don't need to do it and schedule it in each day.

  4. Permanent Guest Entry Barcode

    If you are bringing in the same guest each time you come, they(the guest) should be able keep their barcode for easier entry and not have to show their ID each time.

  10. Add More Hip Adductor/Abductor Machines

    Specifically the guilderland location. Every time i go the combo machine is taken. Check multiple times over my workout while utilizing other machines. I’ll finish my whole workout and it is constantly taken.

  19. Library of exercises/workouts

    I think it would be great if you had a library of workouts you could look up by category- arms , glutes , core, upper body , lower body etc that
    Someone could look up and follow or do in the gym when they wanted to using various pieces of gym equipment.

  20. I’d appreciate if the app had an option to add the qr code to apple wallet

    It would be way easier for users to find the QR code in the apple wallet app by just clicking the side button instead of finding the Golds Gym app and then getting the code inside the app.
    Also I would really appreciate if you guys finally add to the NorCal icon the dark mode. It’s very annoying when all the icons turn dark except golds gym
