This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Meal options

    Would be great to have a few more “simple” breakfasts and lunch options for people like myself are busy mums. Just a few options that I know are ok to have that don’t require lots of cooking prep or specialised ingredients.
    I’ve found a recipe which I could make but it has tapioca flour… I’m not going to buy tapioca flour especially for one recipe but there is not a tip of “need to swap to flour use this much instead” so that excludes that recipe for me.
    I am not good at working out and tracking macros ect so…

  2. European recipe measurements

    Please convert recipe measurements from cups and oz to grams and oven temperatures to celcius. I’m forever looking up the conversions.

  3. Meal plan

    Would like to be able to add or take away ingredients of the recipes provided . Modify them and also make half portions as required if I am doing less calories some days . That way my couch can monitor what I am eating exactly

  5. Suggestions

    1. Be able to copy a meal to as many days as you like (right now the max is 3) 2. When creating the grocery list you should be able to select 7 people or more than just 6 people

  8. Provide a list of ingredients to swap

    Select any ingredient to swap, a list of alternatives will be displayed. After selecting a new ingredient, the application will automatically recalculate the fats, calories, and protein.

  9. Fewer meals for the week

    I work sometimes 6 days straight. I don’t want a different meal I need to cook every day or 18 different meals for the week. Why isn’t there a meal prep? 3 or 4 meals that get us through the work week. I find that more useful.

  11. Recipe building in the app

    Please add in the function that will allow us to build a meal in the custom area, instead of having to add in the different components every time. This works in My Fitness Pal, please look into adding the same functionality to your app.

  12. Make a better meal planner that optimize shopping cart smaller

    Make it optimizing grocery list. When creating a meal plan for 2 days for example, it generates a grocery list that is too huge. Maybe the recipes are too fancy and complicated. Sometimes you get two items that are almost identical coming from two recipes but they are considered separate since the label is not the same

  15. Connect AnyList Meal planner app

    Have app work w/my AnyList app; send over recipes to my family meal scheduler. The trainerize grocery list increases amount of people for every meal but all my family members don’t eat every meal with the same food. I need the meals to work in conjunction with what I do for my entire family and having to use both apps is time consuming. If I could send your meals to my AnyList app where I schedule my family’s week long meals, make grocery lists for different stores, and cook from the recipes there, that would make my life so much…

    Not every one can do a high protein diet. Please add alt options for people with things like CKD, Diabetic, low sodium, ect.

  19. More food planning options

    In Custom food there should be more options to customize your food entry like in my fitness pal. For example im not able to enter separate ingredients for a specific recipe just the macros and there is no Serving option to choose from as well, this would help a lot. Also when choosing and food in your history, you should have the option of deleting foods that you dont use as much anymore or don’t intend to use in the future so you wont have to go through a HUGE list of foods just to find a specific food.   20. Be able to search for all recipes all the time

    Some recipes only show up for certain meals but I want to eat it for a different meal. For example, egg white quesadilla shows up for lunch, but I wanted to swap it for a breakfast and I wasn't able to enter it in for breakfast.
