habits / macro goals
I'm finding it very frustrating that the app has now changed under the daily habits nutrition structure where I'm unable to actually allocate specific macronutrient targets because of the limitations the app now has. I work with a lot of bodybuilders which means I need to utilise macros that aren't necessarily generic or within general practices. But I'm unable to now allocate those macronutrient targets due to limitations set by the app. Hopefully we can have this changed back to what it was where we were able to manipulate and adjust the macro nutrients as we desire?

Preserve Exercise Notes When Copying Phases or Programs
I would like to suggest an improvement to the programming workflow.
When creating programs, I often use the exercise notes section to include important setup instructions for clients, such as machine settings, seat positions, pad adjustments, equipment setup, or other exercise-specific details.
These notes are saved correctly within the current phase. However, when I create a new phase or duplicate/copy a program into a new program, these notes are not always carried over and need to be manually re-entered.
For coaches who work with recurring clients and frequently update programs, this creates extra administrative work and increases the risk of important setup instructions being forgotten.
It would be extremely helpful if there was an option to:
Automatically retain exercise notes when copying phases or programs.
Or provide a checkbox such as "Copy exercise notes and setup instructions" when duplicating a phase/program.
Or create a dedicated "Permanent Exercise Notes" field that remains attached to the exercise for that specific client across future program updates. This would improve efficiency, consistency, and client experience, especially when exercises require specific equipment setup instructions.

have a clickable link that i can add to other emails that allows clients to be invited - rather than sending an invitation via trainerise
It would be great to have a clickable link I can use in an external email that the client can click on to access the app for the first time. I have an external welcome email that has links to other resources that are important for my onboarding process. I have to send a separate email for this app. It looks unprofessional and Id love it if i could have a link to add to my other email, so i could do it all in one email.

Have the ability to change calorie quantities on different days for clients instead of averaged out across the week. This will help with clients that like to consume more calories on different days, eg. Saturday and Sunday

Master template habit coaching transferring into individual calendars
The ability to have habit coaching transfer over into someones calendar when you schedule in habits into a master template.
Right now when I create a master template in the programs section that include custom habits and I copy it into a clients calendar that habits don't transfer over.

Bring back the old layout.
The new update does not allow you to revert the app layout back to the old version. The new app layout isnt user friendly. The text is hard to read due to the font style and size. Please bring back the legacy layout option so we can choose which layout best suits our clientele.

Serving and portion size should be saved so it's easy to re-enter in meal tracker. Most people are re-eating the same thing most days

Allow coaches to manually adjust the total daily macro targets after adding custom meals (before publishing)
When building a client's meal plan, we can set initial macro goals (protein, carbs, and fats in grams) and then add our customised meals. However, it's often difficult to get the totals to match the exact targets perfectly after adding real foods or recipes.
Currently, once the meals are added, the platform calculates the actual macros from those foods (e.g. 157g protein instead of the original 160g target), but we cannot easily adjust the displayed daily macro targets on that page to reflect the final realistic totals.
Suggested improvement:
After adding all the meals and seeing the calculated macro totals, please add the ability to manually edit/override the daily macro targets directly on the meal plan review page — before publishing or assigning it to the client.
For example:Original target: 160g protein | 240g carbs | 55g fats
After adding meals: calculated totals become 157g protein | 239g carbs | 52g fats
Allow me to simply change the targets to 157g | 239g | 52g (or any close values I prefer)This small but powerful change would let coaches deliver clean, accurate meal plans where clients can see that completing all their meals = hitting 100% of their prescribed macros. It removes the current mismatch and makes the plans feel more precise and professional.
This would be especially useful for coaches who create highly customised meal plans with real foods rather than relying solely on the Smart Meal Planner.
See I had, 160g target for protein for example, but at the moment, the meals I added give 157, and I cant edit that in there to match 157. It would be good if I can reset the macros in this page to 157, 239 and 52.When building a client's meal plan, we can set initial macro goals (protein, carbs, and fats in grams) and then add our customised meals. Education section
There needs to be an "Education" section or portal that is separate from workouts. Clients need to be able to refer to videos uploaded by the trainer for basic education for true remote coaching. This is already available on other apps and if not added makes Trainerize fall behind the competition

Period & 28 Day Cycle Tracker for Female Clients
Allow for Trainers to add in a section where females can log their 28 day cycle with notes, symptoms, etc. This will help the Trainer give them the best training experience based off of their cycle and allow for the Trainer to give insight into how to handle nutrition and wellness activities. Allow for the Trainer to pull a report on this information or have a section that states # of days between bleeds

A button to report when the site/app is down
The status page never seems to be updated until after an outage is over, which is unhelpful. It's hard to know if the team is even aware of the situation, let alone working on it.
Having a button to 'report a problem' would be great.
In general, having the status page updated faster during an outage would be great - even if it's just to say that it's being investigated.

Check-ins/forms
The ability to speak/respond/add notes to a clients check-in form directly rather than taking notes then sending a seperate message or video response. So a reply tab directly within the checkin form, so we can read and respond all in one.

Remove number of members from group name
In the new app lay out it now lists number of members under each group... I find that extremely unprofessional that clients can see how many people you have in a group. That information doesn't need to be public. If a coach wants that information to be public they can either tell the group, or choose to toggle that information on/off.

Omada Health Integration with Trainerize
Request an integration between Trainerize and Omada Health that allows client health, nutrition, and wellness data to automatically sync into Trainerize.
Problem
Many clients are using Omada Health through their employer, insurance provider, or healthcare program while simultaneously working with a coach on Trainerize. Currently, clients must manually track and manage data across two separate platforms, which creates duplicate work, decreases compliance, and increases the likelihood of incomplete data.
As coaches, we also lack visibility into the health and wellness metrics that clients are already recording within Omada Health.
Requested Solution:
Develop a direct integration between Omada Health and Trainerize that would:
- Automatically import client data from Omada Health into Trainerize.
- Allow key health and wellness metrics to sync between platforms.
- Create a writeback capability where appropriate so data entered in one platform can update the other.
- Consolidate client tracking into a single dashboard within Trainerize.
- Reduce duplicate logging and improve client adherence.
Potential Data Points to Sync:
- Body weight
- Nutrition tracking
- Activity levels and step counts
- Blood glucose data (when available)
- Health coaching metrics
- Wellness habits and lifestyle tracking
- Program adherence metrics
Benefits:
For Clients:
- Less time spent entering data in multiple apps.
- Improved user experience.
- Increased compliance and engagement.
For Coaches:
- Centralized access to client health and wellness data.
- Better-informed coaching decisions.
- More efficient monitoring and accountability.
For Trainerize:
- Stronger integration with healthcare and wellness ecosystems.
- Increased value for coaches working alongside employer-sponsored and insurance-sponsored wellness programs.
- Greater adoption among coaches serving clients who use Omada Health.
This integration would help bridge the gap between healthcare-driven wellness programs and personalized coaching, making Trainerize the central hub for client health, fitness, nutrition, and behavior-change tracking.
