This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  3. Add an injury/pain tracker

    Add ability for client to list chronic or diagnosed injuries and rate pain and symptom level during/after a given workout -- including ability for trainer to respond

  4. give the profile and consultation window editable size qualities so that it can be onscreen while working on a training plan.

    When I am working on a clients plan, it would be nice to be able to open the clients profile and consultation form in a window that I can either size smaller and move to the side or move to an external monitor separate from the training plan. It would eliminate alot of back and forth work that we currently have to do.

  5. Add a Total Reps option in the Exercise Tracking

    It would be very helpful to be able to see how many total reps a client has done of a specific exercise. I would like to be able to see how many they did in total per workout or week instead of just seeing the max reps they did in a set.
    Also, if a weekly view of this at a glance could be added that would be phenomenal.

  6. Show clearly when I open up a client's account if there are flagged notes

    This can be added in all the white space on the page opened when a client is pulled up in the training app.

    This way, ANY trainer who is training that client can quickly see if there are certain things to be aware of like injuries or past due payments.

  7. PLEASE GET RID OF THE THUMBS UP AFTER COMPLETING EVERY SINGLE HABIT!!!

    Several clients (almost all actually lol) are reporting the checklist items are extremely annoying to check off.... you should be able to swipe left on each item and it just immediately checks off the habit item. But instead, they have to view a thumbs up popup multiple times to check an item off. SUCH a waste of time. This NEEDS fixed immediately. And should be immediate upon swiping left and tapping the blue check mark. Ridiculous....

    Instead of breakfast lunch dinner snack. I’d love to see meal 1, meal 2. Meal 3 etc. maybe a vitamin supplement option

  9. have a clickable link that i can add to other emails that allows clients to be invited - rather than sending an invitation via trainerise

    It would be great to have a clickable link I can use in an external email that the client can click on to access the app for the first time. I have an external welcome email that has links to other resources that are important for my onboarding process. I have to send a separate email for this app. It looks unprofessional and Id love it if i could have a link to add to my other email, so i could do it all in one email.

  11. need calories to go down to 1200 or 1300 as a minimum.

    also need more recipes that are not so many calories as it's impossible to build a meal plan for someone on a lower calorie diet. There is no wiggle room for them to add in any extra snacks or drinks on top either.

    Have an in-app body scan that does their measurements, etc. My client uses Noom, and we compared her scan to my measurements, and they were almost exact. THIS WOULD BE AMAZING!!!

    Noom offers an in-app body scan that uses a 10-second video to create a 3D avatar and calculate body composition metrics. Key Metrics: Body fat percentage, fat mass (lbs), lean mass (lbs), and waist-to-hip ratio.

  13. PROGRAMMING VIEW: Having more functional view when developing programs.

    When developing programs its difficult to see where you're at in the programming because you have to click on multiple screens.

    The side bar for the listed programs doesn't expand and everything is all in one list. We should be able to expand that sidebar to read each program name.

    We need the ability to create "program folders" "workout folders" etc, so we can more effectively create programs without having to click on every single object to know what we are looking at.

    Also, when designing programs, like other apps the program design section has the view set to where…

  14. As a user I would like to be able to Add notes to each exercise not just on the entire workout itself

    I am the client, when I work out I may modify a exercise the trainer has set because I cannot do it as asked. Ex pushups, many times I end up on my knees. I would appreciate being able to note on the exact move what modification I did instead of the note on the whole day

  15. Customizable Progressive Overload Automated Progressions

    I’d love to see an automated progressive overload system built into the workout programming. The idea is simple: instead of coaches having to manually adjust reps and weights for every client every week, the app would give an option for coaches implement progressions guide users through a structured 3 or 4 week or however may week cycle in the progressions.

    For example, in week one a client might do 3 sets of 8 reps on an exercise. In week two, the app would prompt them to do 3 sets of 9 at the same weight, and in week three, 3…

  16. habits / macro goals

    I'm finding it very frustrating that the app has now changed under the daily habits nutrition structure where I'm unable to actually allocate specific macronutrient targets because of the limitations the app now has. I work with a lot of bodybuilders which means I need to utilise macros that aren't necessarily generic or within general practices. But I'm unable to now allocate those macronutrient targets due to limitations set by the app. Hopefully we can have this changed back to what it was where we were able to manipulate and adjust the macro nutrients as we desire?

  17. Intra-Workout Notes (Persistent Week-to-Week)

    Problem:

    Clients want to log quick notes during workouts (e.g., effort level, reps in reserve, fatigue, technique cues), but there’s no easy way to do this inside Trainerize without switching apps or losing context.

    Requested Feature:

    Add a notes field directly beside each exercise (or set) that:

    • Can be written during the workout (mid-set / between sets)
    • Carries over week-to-week (like weights/reps do)
    • Is visible to both client and coach

    Allows coaches to review and respond to notes

    Use Cases:

    “Last 2 reps needed momentum”
    “Felt gassed on set 3, needed extra rest”
    “Strong first set, big drop-off after”

  20. Allow coaches to manually adjust the total daily macro targets after adding custom meals (before publishing)

    When building a client's meal plan, we can set initial macro goals (protein, carbs, and fats in grams) and then add our customised meals. However, it's often difficult to get the totals to match the exact targets perfectly after adding real foods or recipes.
    Currently, once the meals are added, the platform calculates the actual macros from those foods (e.g. 157g protein instead of the original 160g target), but we cannot easily adjust the displayed daily macro targets on that page to reflect the final realistic totals.
